It seems that SiteLinkx does not work with special characters such as: ü, é, ç, etc.

Is there a work-around for this?

Hello KarelMG,

both the Joomla system and Sitelinkx use UTF8 by default, so special characters like umlaut or accent characters should work, even non latin character sets like greek, cyrillic or chinese should work without problems.

A possible issue can be the database collation, some mysql installations do not use the utf8_general_ci collation by default.
