Having a bit of trouble understanding how this works for K2 on a brand new install of the component.
I have some K2 articles each with an image. I placed a menu item of type K2 Articles and gave it a category.
In Grid view the category then shows but with no thumbnails, just Read More text. The links to the articles work fine and each image shows in the article as it is supposed to. Where are the thumbnail images for the grid view supposed to come from, the images shown in the K2 articles? That's what I would think, but it is not showing. Can someone explain? thanks
btw these K2 articles as a test are basic, no extra fields, no image gallery. K2 version 2.7.0 Joomla 3.6
ed: Using Inspector in Chrome, if on one of the thumbs I change //media/k2/items/cache/thumbs/a9ccd7cd1c4267a50c67ac0bd7180172_S.jpg to /media/k2/items/cache/thumbs/a9ccd7cd1c4267a50c67ac0bd7180172_S.jpg then the thumbnail shows. So there is an extra slash that needs to be removed for the thumbnail to show

Hi ghiebert,
as already explained in the answer to your ticket, this double slash appears due to a typo in the source code.
It only affects the K2 Portfolio element. This issue will be corrected in the next version.

Hi,
we've just released a new version of our Portfolio.
This version corrects the typo in the source, so thumbnails will be displayed correctly, and adds a config option for thumbnail size
